Joining the growing list of celebrities diving into live streams to connect with fans during lockdown, Dwayne Johnson has taken to Instagram for a Q&A, where he spoke about adding another film to his already busy schedule, the actor talking about plans to continue in the role of Luke Hobbs in a sequel to his 2019 outing Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw.
While there’s no confirmation on the return of co-stars Jason Statham and Vanessa Kirby or even director David Leitch and screenwriter Chris Morgan, it seems likely as the film was a moderate box office success with fairly positive reviews.
Expect a sequel to Hobbs & Shaw to dive more into the Eteon corporation, where we could see the boss of the first film’s villain, Brixton – which happens to be someone that Leitch and Morgan both reportedly want to see played by Keanu Reeves.
Are you excited about the prospect of Hobbs & Shaw 2? Could this be the film where we see John Wick star Reeves joining the long-running Fast and the Furious franchise? Let us know by reaching out on social media @FlickeringMyth, or in the comments below…
