Lazio have been trying to sign Olivier Giroud since the winter transfer market. According to the ‘Telegraph’, the Italian side have offered the Chelsea player a pre-contract, but Giroud turned down the proposal.
He prefers to wait to see if any offer comes from Tottenham.
Olivier Giroud seems to have his priorities clear. If it is down to him, he prefers to stay in the Premier League.
‘The Telegraph’ says that Lazio offered Giroud a pre-contract. The footballer, however, declined this proposal.
Giroud knows that Tottenham wanted him in the January window. Therefore he has preferred to wait, he does not want to rush.
At Lazio, they are promising to fight to the end for Giroud. They were very close to sealing the deal in the winter and they are hoping to be able to count on him from the summer.
