Kid Cudi Turned Heads At The CFDA Fashion Awards As He Sported A Wedding Dress

The rapper’s choice of wardrobe has reignited rumors about him being gay.

However, the singer’s fans have shut down the rumors and slammed the critics for questioning his sexuality for wearing a certain dress, while other male celebrities are praised for the same.

Kid Cudi hasn’t spoken about his sexuality publicly, but he has been a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community.

After seeing him in the wedding dress at the award ceremony, some were quick to call him gay, while others wondered if he was straight.

This isn’t the first time the rapper has been subjected to such rumors. In June 2021, a similar discussion about the singer’s sexual orientation had taken place when he wore a dress on Saturday Night Live.

However, he slammed the speculation saying he doesn’t pay heed to what others have to say and the opinions of the critics wouldn’t upset him.

Kid Cudi’s fans are slamming the trolls for spreading baseless rumors about the rapper being gay just because he wore a dress to an award ceremony.

One tweeted, “Just because kid cudi out here rocking dresses in confidence, doesn’t mean he’s gay…. Can y’all stop this”

Another added, “when are y’all gonna realize the “gay agenda” doesn’t exist and Lil Nas X & Kid Cudi don’t account for every famous black man in the world”

One fan wrote, “people like you are so brainwashed by fashion rules, that you cant believe that people are dressing feminine without being gay. Cant you hear how dumb you sound?”

Kid Cudi wore a custom bridal gown designed by ERL to the event at New York City’s The Grill Room.

The white lace dress came with gloved sleeves and an ankle-length skirt. The rapper paired it with a tuxedo jacket and sneakers with crystal flowers on them.

He was accompanied to the event by the designer of the dress Eli Russell Linnetz. They even posed holding each other’s hand on the red carpet.
