Jurgen Klopp has previously admitted he is ‘happy’ with his Liverpool squad ahead of the transfer window even currently without star attackers Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
However, a dip into the market can never be ruled out, whilst Liverpool also gear ahead for a busy summer transfer window.
After three years of spending very little in the summer in comparison to their rivals, Liverpool are believed to be key players for a few major targets this summer.
Jurgen Klopp knows he must continue to rebuild his team, if they are to compete with the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United.
With that in mind, here is a round-up of the latest Liverpool transfer rumours, as we give our verdict on whether or not a move would benefit the club.
Klopp says Reds can ‘be better’, Arteta ‘proud’ of Gunners
Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala
Previous Liverpool target Dybala has rejected a final contract from Juventus and is set to become a free agent, according to TYC Sports.
The Argentine has turned down a 220,000 a week contract, and will leave Turin this summer.
Paulo Dybala is a very creative attacking player – the type which Liverpool are lacking in their team.
He’s shown throughout he’s career that he’s one of the better number 10’s in world football – being involved in 160 goals in 250 games at the top level for Juventus.
But at 28 years old, and likely to command a huge salary, is he the type of player Liverpool would look at?
Dybala is almost exclusively a number 10 who likes to play in between the lines, whilst dictating the play centrally. Where does he fit in Liverpool’s set-up?
We haven’t really seen him play with his back to goal to play in the false 9, nor have we seen him play deeper in central midfield.
Whilst he’d be a solid option, it’s not an ideal fit for Liverpool.
Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka
Football journalist and podcast host Ian McGarry has claimed that Saka is a target for Liverpool this summer.
Seen as a future star for Arsenal, Saka has been linked with a move to Liverpool before, but ended up signing a new contract with Arsenal.
If signing Bukayo Saka is actually realistic, then Liverpool shouldn’t think twice.
Here is 20-year-old English winger who is a perfect fit for Liverpool’s style of play, whilst also being incredibly productive.
The report claims Saka would cost Liverpool around £58 million.
Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Yves Bissouma is eyeing up a potential move to a top four club should he part ways with Brighton in the summer.
The central midfielder has been linked to Liverpool, with Jurgen Klopp said to be a fan.
Yves Bissouma is a proven commodity in the Premier League.
He’s quietly been a very good performer for three years now, and will likely get a move this summer.
