Alexis Sánchez and Chris Smalling will remain at Inter and Roma respectively until the end of the season. Manchester United extended the loans of both players.
Alexis Sánchez’s and Chris Smalling’s contracts at Inter and Roma ended on 30th June. But, in the end, they will be able to finish the season in Serie A.
United confirmed that they have decided to extend the contracts of both Alexis Sánchez and Chris Smalling. Both can continue in Milan and Rome until the 19-20 season ends.
“Alexis’ deal at Inter Milan has also been extended until the end of the first week of next month”, Manchester United published through a statement on their website.
“Smalling will stay at the Stadio Olimpico for the rest of the Serie A season, which is currently scheduled to last until the beginning of August, due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic”, the Red Devils said.
